Chinese Herbal Liniment

At Melbourne Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture Clinic we make our own Chinese herbal liniment using traditional recipes. Herbs are soaked in an alcohol based solution in small batches, for a minimum three months, and are agitated daily to create a high quality product. All production from soaking and agitating to filtering, bottling and labelling is all done on site for quality control purposes.

Liniments may be used on aches and pains, injuries, painful joints and even broken bones. A good herbal liniment will help to decrease inflammation and increase blood flow in an effort to decrease pain and encourage healing where necessary.

Dr Ben's Orange Label Liniment

This liniment is recommended for acute and post acute strains, sprains and general injuries. This liniment is recommended for new injuries or as a general go to for aches and pains. This is a great liniment to aid recovery while the body is healing. It has even been known to helpful soothe painful mozzie bites!

Dr Ben's Purple Label Liniment

This liniment is designed to be used for more serious injuries that involve fracture or long term chronic pain. This can include arthritis pain and stubborn painful areas that have been a problem for many years. This liniment is particularly indicated where there is deep bone bruising and/or fractures to bones.

Dr Ben's Green Label Liniment

This liniment is mainly used for foot injuries and any foot pain including plantar fasciitis, heel spur pain, tendonitis and ankle sprains. It can also be used for arthritis pain in the feet and as a general refresher for hard working feet. It is recommended to be rubbed into the sore areas directly or be used as an ingredient in a foot soak recipe.
